Description: Stoneware Whiskey Moonshine Jug with Handle This jug belonged to my grandmother who was born in 1908. Not sure when or where she acquired the jug but she always called it the "Old Moonshine Jug." Brown Glazed Holds 2 Gallons Marked with a decorative curly '2', possibly a cursive 'Q' or some other stylized mark on the top of the jug (see last 2 pictures).
