Unbranded, and signed only "Japan" on its 1-1/8" wide X 3-7/16" tall blade iron, the edge is good, and will respond well to honing and sharpening by a experienced hand. It is in excellent overall condition, retaining much of its original black Japanning, with no personal markings from previous owners. Any honing, sharpening cleaning, and detailing is left up to you.
