Description: This is an unusual and beautiful piece of jewelry! We got this from an estate sale in the Western NC mountains and have never seen anything like it. The lady who owned it has it custom made in the early 1980’s and was gently worn. The piece consists of a very large sliced slab of untreated natural emerald w/ calcite around the edges. The stone is wrapped in and on free cut silver sheeting. This is all mounted on a very study, thick sterling wire that acts as a choker.
