Description: 1 pound (16 oz) of wheat pennies, lots of early datesA friend of mine's father passed away recently (he was in his 80's) and we purchased his small hoard of wheat pennies (approx 36 pounds). My friend said that his father was active in the 1960's and it appears that he is correct I took a sample of a couple hundred and divided into decades. It had the following mix:10% 1910's & 1920's32% 1930's37% 1940's20% 1950's There are lots of 1943 steel pennies as well, and many of the 40's & 50's still have mint luster still showing so this looks like it really was an old collection. I have also listed a few of his penny & nickel coin folders We will sell in 1 pound lots as they come.
