Description: Optitek ProLock-i FZ to C-EF adapter (Picture of actual item for sale - not stock photo - more pictures at bottom) The Optitek ProLock Mark I (CPL-Sony-F) is a FZ to EF adapter that allows Canon EF lenses to be used on the Sony PMW-F3, PMW-F5, or PMW-F55 camera. This is the original Mark I version which does not have electrical contacts on the lens mount. It gets power to the lens from the 4-pin Hirose connector cable coming out of it. You will need to add a 4-pin cable (or 4-pin to P-tap cable) to power via 12V. There is buttons on the mount to open and close the iris in 1/3rd stop increments. Also provides power to IS stabilization and internal focus servos. If using a cinema lens with it's own iris/aperture ring, then no power would be required. Features a clamping lock ring on the Canon EF mount to secure lenses. Condition: Good working order. This is Mark I version that does not receive power from the camera mount, butn instead a 4-pin hirose cable. The extension cable is included to easily attach this to your F5 / F55 / F3 camera to provide power and communication with your lens. Cosmetically has some obvious paint wear, mostly on the FZ mount side - overall in good condition and undamaged.
