The steps to creating OrchidMoon jewelry is a time consuming and unique process that begins with photographing and printing Phaleonopsis , Dendrobium & Cymbidium varieties. The process continues by cutting and assembling petals to their original form using a string and bead technique, afterwards petals are curled and shaped. Paint is matched and applied to the backs and edges. Finally the first of many layers of laquer are applied to the entire orchid. When orchids have dried completely special thought and care is given to designing the jewelry with repurposed stones, crystals, glass and wooden beads. The ear wires are always new to insure that they are safe to wear. Ear hooks are gold plated brass & Sterling silver. OrchidMoon Jewelry is very light and comfortable to wear!
