Description: You are looking at an original John Deere rain cap. This cap’s clamp area measures roughly 2-5/8”. I had this on a 1967 3020 and it looked great. I removed it before I sold the tractor. I blasted and painted this with John Deere muffler black paint before it was installed on the tractor. I also put in new hardware. It does appear to have a hairline crack from the pivot hole on one side. You can see it in the picture from the side with the nut showing. Can’t see it when it’s way up on the muffler full of soot, but it’s there so I wanted all to know before purchasing. Look over the pictures and judge things for yourself.
