The original Wave was introduced in 1998, and replaced by the current Wave in 2004. The original version was lighter and more nimble, and it remains very popular. SIZE & WEIGHT: The original Leatherman Wave tool is 101mm (4") long, 30.5mm (1.2") wide, and 18.5mm (3/4") thick. It weighs about 222 grams (7.8 oz).
