Description: Original MR CHERRY cherry box/cherry crate label. From 1950s for cherries shipped by Prentice Packing & Cold Storage Company in Yakima, Washington. Label is the second Mr Cherry design that was started in the late 1950s with the blue background and Mr Cherry in a white tuxedo for the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania market. At that time Prentice had just used their Kare-Ful-Pak brand for everything (except for some one off labels I have found) so this was a new brand and a new different looking label. The first version of this label was a yellow and light blue with him in a black tuxedo is also listed on my auctions right now. This label was redone into this version to match Mr Apple & Mr Pear who were all wearing the same outfit. Label is in mint condition. I will combine shipping on auctions.
