I have spent the last few years seeking the art instruction that could get me there. I've used every method available from live portrait classes, to books, audio and video instruction and surrounding myself with artists more experienced than I. My representational style continues to evolve. I am an active member of Arkansas League of Artists and National Oil & Acrylic Painters Society. I have exhibited work at the Laman Art Gallery for the Arkansas League of Artists Member Shows. Most recently, I was juried into the national 2024 Southwest Artist Inc show. I spend my free time sketching, reading art books and studying great historical and contemporary artists in order to advance my practice.
