Description: This painting came from a local estate of a family who was well traveled. They brought home many nice items from their travels, including (I assume) this painting. It features a woman and 2 girls. The woman is wearing traditional garb of a burka and face cover. I'm no expert in Muslim clothing but this style mask makes me think of the Bedouins of Northern Africa. But I could certainly be wrong. The painting is signed at the bottom right but I can't make out the name. It was framed locally in Tennessee. It was painted on canvas and the entire piece measures 34 by 28.5 inches. The painting and frame are in good condition. There is some light crackling of the paint.
