Up for sale is a set Vintage Antique 19th century Russian Imperial Silver 84 (old Russian silver standard), Rare desert set of Knife and Fork, decorated in Faberge Russian Imperial style. Famous Maker "G.K". Gustav Klingert. Fork is measuring 6,1/8” in length, & the knife is 6,5/8". Total Weight:70 gr. Set with a matching an 'A.R' monogram ( in Latin), rare original patina, monogram is possible, for Alexander Romanov, from Romanov Dynasty. No repairs, overall excellent condition. Gustav Klingert who used to work for Faberge owned a factory of gold & silverware which was founded in 1865 and known until 1916. His factory produced a lot of silver enamel items. He had 200 workers & 45 teenagers, manufacturing items worth 400,000 roubles. He was a participant in the exhibition in Paris (1889) and Chicago (1893) where his works were granted honorable mentions. He had 4 sons and grandsons who worked together with him, one of the sons from: 1915 to 1917 was working in the Moscow branch of the Faberge.
