Description: New old stock, this is the original nickel plated steel key that Kundo (Kieninger und Obergfell) shipped with their Junior (miniature) and midget movement clocks. These are the smaller Kundo clocks, measuring 9'' or less from bottom of base to top of dome or case. We know anniversary clocks. Are you looking for a key for your Kundo clock, but aren't sure if it is a Kundo miniature or midget movement clock? Are you looking for a key for one of your other anniversary clocks? We can help! Kieninger & Obergfell, arguably the most successful and innovative anniversary clock manufacturer ever, began producing mechanical anniversary clocks in 1910, continuing with brief interruptions during WWI and WWII, until the late 1970's. Kundo was the first to produce miniature anniversary clocks in 1952, with midget models appearing in 1960. During that time, Kundo sold clocks not only under their own name, but also under such importers as Cuckoo Clock Manufacturing Company, Euramca Trading Corporation, Forestville Clock Company, Heco, Perfecta Watch & Clock Company, and Welby Corporation, just to name a few. To complicate matters, other anniversary clock manufacturers also sold clocks through these same importers. And although many Kundo miniature clocks have some uniquely identifiable characteristics, such as a prominent arch with distinctive cone-on-ball finials, or their extremely effective pendulum locking device located on the movement platform, others may not. Here's how we can help you find the right key for your clock: Contact us, and attach a close up picture of the brass plate on the back of your clock (this plate is like a fingerprint). It should be a fairly sharp picture, but doesn't have to be perfect. If any writing on the plate is illegible from the photograph, just write it down in the text of the message. No digital camera? No problem. Along with any writing on the back plate, include a top to bottom measurement of your clock. We will reply back with the clock manufacturer's name, movement size, approximate date of manufacture, and the title of our auction if we stock a key that fits. We stock keys for all post WWII anniversary clocks, as well as some pre WWII anniversary clocks. Any questions, just ask!
