Description: For Sale a Very Rare one of a kind WW2 GI bring back set of Wooden Dutch Clogs that are GI signed, clogs most likely came from Holland when the war ended and are inscribed Surrender of Germany May 8 1945. The shoes have many GI names and addresses inscribed on them, some are legible, some are faded or worn away from time. Many Belgium locals would gift or trade their clogs with the liberating GIs at the end of the war, this GI chose to have his buddies sign them as a keepsake of his time with them. I've never seen a pair signed before and would be a great addition to any WW2 souvenir collection. GI shown photo is for reference only.
