Description: In the coming months I am converting a tiny fraction of my several tons of exotic hardwoods back into cash- the good stuff that rarely makes it back to market. I had this stuff drying indoors in a heated space for a decade or more and some of it dates all the way back to 1992 when I began collecting the prettiest wood I could find from around the world. If you have a question, please ask it before purchasing- I know my wood and will answer within a few hours most of the time. All dimensions are +/- 1/16" but tend to be more accurate. If there are defects that I can see that I think would cause a problem I will note it in the description. Burls and live edge may have natural internal flaws. If you want the best, you'll likely find it here. If you don't like it when you get it, just return it for exchange, credit or refund, your choice. Outstanding Stabilized Oak Spaghetti Lace Burl #1056. LOOK AT THE FIGURE ON THESE! The dimensions are a supersized 7" x 2 1/4" x 3/8" for each scale. Spaghetti burl figure is difficult to find without cracks and fissures because it is difficult to dry properly, that is why you don't find it stabilized or unstabilized very often. The coloration, contrast and lacey burl figure is outstanding across the lot. This stuff is hard and solid, air dried for quite a while then dried again in a vacuum oven before being stabilized to perfection. UV protection in the finish is always recommended to preserve the richness of the color if it is to be used or displayed under sunlight, fluorescent lighting or any other UV producing artificial lighting. Gun grip blanks, craft wood, micro lumber, box wood, etc. Please note that the color you see on your screen may be different than the color I see on my screen so please ask questions if precise color or shade is important for your project. Photos are of the scales dry, the good side sanded to 320 grit and the backs to 120 grit. Just try to imagine how nice this will look with your favorite finish applied!
