One reads 'Churfürst Johann Friedrich der Erste Älteste, Grofsmuthrige und Standhaffte' Elector Johann Friedrich the First Elder, Most Courageous and Steadfast/ with a date at the top 1530, possible for John Frederick I, German and the other reads 'Churfürst Johannes a Aeltere und Bestandige 1467' Elector John the Elder and Permanent 1467, marked 1708 on backside.
