Description: Pair of 9-inch lever action flush bolt, early 1900’s, high-end architectural ironmongery. As you can see in the photo’s they’re numbered Prov Patent No 25626. I haven’t been able to track that one down, but the design, material, and patina suggest early 20th century. They are very well engineered, with a nice satisfying action and I have no doubt they have the potential to last multiple times their current age. These would have been in a municipal building or wealthy residence, and as with many things of excellent design will take up their new location bringing a finishing touch of quality, or blending in perfectly. Please study the photo’s as they form part of the description. These have obvious ware and patina which of course is part of the appeal.
