Description: Pair of charming antique hand-painted small trays or shallow bowls. They are made of lightweight tin and both measure 8" in diameter, with edges that are 1" tall. They are a mustardy brown color and have primitive Pennsylvania Dutch folk art designs in red, green and yellow with brown scrollwork trim, each with their own, complementary design, so that they work beautifully together on display. They are in very good condition with hardly any peeling paint or rust; the brown in the center is sort of mottled and I am not sure if that is the paint, or from oxidation or something else, but it only adds to their charm. This delightful pair would look great in a country kitchen or any room with traditional American antiques. I have been a crazy toleware fanatic over the past 30 years and am starting to downsize my collection, so please check my listings if you are a collector yourself.
