MARKS: Each piece has an Eagle head inside "Hecho en Mexico" and "Sterling 925". There are other marks as shown including an Eagle 2 mark. I believe these were designed by highly regarded Mexico City silversmith Juventino Lopez Reyes, however the marks do not include his iconic initials. Whoever made them, they are a very fine pair of Mexican Silver Candle Sticks. This mark looks like the Reyes mark shown at the silvercollection.it website marks page https://www.silvercollection.it/MEXICOSILVERMARKSCDUE.html and the image silvercollection.it/mexico109bis.jpg. These are the only similar marks that I can find. SIZE: Each is 5" Tall x 2-1/8" x 2-1/8" Square. This Very Heavy pair weighs 562grams or 19.9oz.
