Pair Vintage 1950s Ceramic Pottery Lamps Tripod Mid Century Modern MCM Lighting

Description: ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a beautiful set of vintage table lamps with their original accompanying shades. Circa '50s. The bases are constructed of a textured pink ceramic body. It is sandwiched between a wooden neck and three brass legs that form a tripod base for the lamp base to stand on. Each lamp has a standard on/off rotary knob switch that is located at the socket. The shade coverings are a nubby tan textile material with black and gold filaments running throughout (see photos). We are uncertain as to the maker - they are not signed, nor do they have any labels or tags. They are suitable for any modern interior setting! MEASUREMENTS: With the shades attached, the lamps stand approx. 24" tall x 14". wide. The distance from the bottom of the base to the light sockets is approx. 17" high. The pink pottery portion of the lamps measures approx. 3" tall x 6" wide x 6" deep. The wooden neck portion of the lamp base measures approx. 5.75" tall. The distance between each of the tripod legs is approx. 7". The shade alone measures approx. 9" tall x 13" in diameter (top) x 14" in diameter (bottom). CONDITION: Both lamps are in great condition - no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, scratches, etc. The shade show slight traces of wear, but nothing objectionable - there are no rips, holes, tears, burns, stains, repairs, etc. The electrical wiring looks to be original to the lamps - there are no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires. The lamps are in fully-functioning, working condition. As with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having a licensed professional inspect before long-term use.
