Description: Palissy Royal Worcester Co. Ginger Jar, Floral Roses and Forget-Me-Nots, with Gold Rim, small Palissy was purchased by Royal Worcester but as a factory was closed in 1989 and the patterns are no longer available. We tried to identify this pattern from the internet and found what looks to be a match marked as Sadler Staffordshire England, but the Sadler floral lidded ginger jar does not have the gold rim found on our Palissey Royal Worcester jar lid. We speculate that the pattern from Sadler Staffordshire somehow found its way into the Palissy inventory and was upgraded to add the gold rim.
