Warranty Policy Warranty Policy Parco Scientific warrants its microscopes to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of five years starting from the date of purchase. A record of the original purchase order should be kept on file to verify the purchase and ensure warranty validation. This warranty is non-transferable and is only applicable to the original purchaser named on the original purchase order. Parco Scientific will, at its sole discretion, repair, replace, or adjust the defective instrument provided that an investigation and factory inspection disclose that such defect developed under normal and proper use and that the instrument is covered under this warranty. This warranty does not cover damage incurred in transit, or resulting from abuse, misuse, negligence or repairs and alterations performed by a non-authorized repair technician, and any other non-conformance to written maintenance instructions. This warranty excludes electrical problems that arise as a result of bulbs, batteries, or fuses and electrical components which are not determined to be from manufacturing defect.
