There are no blemishes either on the plum colored plastic or on the Lustraloy cap. Cap jewel is bright and clean. Cap markings are only "PARKER" at the base of the cap. Nib is a perfect rigid fine nib in 14kt. The aerometric filler is the cased type with plastic end cap. It readily take up ink. The filler has extensive filling instructions including the " Press ribbed bar firmly 6 times. " Great pen.
