A lot of my paintings from the 1980's were like that. It's signed AR 86 in the lower right hand corner. Signed Titled and dated on the back. The stretcher was hand made from scratch to save money. Back in the day, sometimes i had to do that.. And that explains the odd size. I always loved and was fascinated by car garages , even as a small child. Something surreal about a place that's only for cars to go in and out, and some people hang around in them. It just gets to me , and i cant explain it. The painting helps to share that feeling.
