The reference 96 was the classic time only Calatrava made by Patek Phillipe from 1932 until 1973. This Vintage Patek 96 has a 18K Yellow gold case. It comes with a New Non OEM Black Alligator strap with a 18K yellow gold Patek Philippe buckle. The watch has a Swiss made Patek Philippe Cal. 12-400 manual wind movement that has just had a complete overhaul and service. The watch case measures approximately 31 mm or 32.75 mm including the crown. The case number is 306536 and the movement number is 722747. This particular reference 96 is an exceptional outlier from the conventional models due to the fact that it features an original BLACK dial which was Very uncommon for the period. The Dial features beautifully applied Dauphine hour markers and the railroad enamel minute track around the peripheral of the dial. The Black dial on this Patek 96 is Gorgeous!
