Genetic diversity is at the forefront of my goals.These seeds came from two different fruits from different farms in Michigan, which grow a variety of cultivars and seedling pawpaws. They will have some of the more hardy (cold resistance) genes within the Asimina triloba gene-pool.This packet of nine Pawpaw seeds has been blessed with prayer. (The other 8 seeds, from the 17 I had, I have sown myself in pots outdoors.)After being removed from the delicious fruit, they were surface-dried, and they are now in moist, shredded maple leaves. They will need a cold treatment prior to germinating; for example, they can be sown outdoors this Fall, or put into refrigeration as-is.
