Sketch map of Switzerland in the front.As with many old books, the page sections in this book had begun to loosen as the glue of the binding became brittle. Accordingly. the casing (covers and spine) was carefully removed and the spine of the binding completely reglued and then recased in the original covers. As a result, though there is no visible evidence of the repair, the book is now firm and square, and should remain a valued volume for years to come.A fine addition for your bookshelf! Condition: Ex-library copy but only indicator is a bookplate in the front, no card pocket or stamps, showing some overall wear with corner tips worn through and some fraying at spine ends, scattered foxing, one page corner torn away (no text affected), a couple of neatly repaired edge tears using a non-yellowing mending film, overall in good repaired condition with a solid binding.
