Description: Peppermint Mocha is part of the Barista Collection of Crepe Myrtles. They are bred specifically to be grown in somewhat colder climates then you would normally see a Crepe Myrtle growing in. The plant forms large heads of intense rosy-pink flowers in the Summer. These contrast beautifully with the dark green leaves. Hardy in Zones 6-9. It will probably freeze down in the Winter in Zone 6a (possibly 6b) but will come back in the Spring and flower in mid to late Summer. Grows to be about 24-30" tall in Zone 6 and forms a nice rounded plant. In warmer zones it will get larger. More like from 6-8' tall. It likes full sun. The plants we are currently offering are in 6" pots and are from 6-8" tall (see the last photo). They will be shipped with the root mass kept moist and protected and they may be cut back somewhat. We recommend that you pot these up for a while before putting them out in the ground. We do refund overcharges on shipping for buyers who order multiple items.
