Personification of Hope-Pandora's Box Greek Mythology-OOAK Barbie Doll Repaint

Description: ~About her~ In the Greek Legend of Pandora, she had a box that contained all the evils of the world. When Pandora opened the box, all of the evils slipped out, but in the end, Hope still remained. Pandora closed the box to keep Hope safe. Presenting my version of the personification of "Hope" in a Barbie doll. I wanted to keep her light and airy, so I left her golden hair flowing, but curled it. She is wearing a hand-dyed watercolor rainbow-hued (a rainbow is a symbol of hope) toga-style gown that has layers of iridescent threaded viney fabric over it. At her shoulder and around her waist is Greek Key ribbon, also hand-dyed in rainbow colors. She also has accents of the iridescent fabric around her wrists, and as a headband. Her now violet eyes are gently lined in onyx and her lips are a soft rose with a hint of iridescence. Around her neck is a handmade silvery irridescent anchor (another symbol of hope) suspended from a pale silvery thread. In her right hand is a (removable with care) handmade pure white dove (yet another symbol of hope) made of fabric and white feathers. Hope is standing inside Pandora's box, ready to walk out. She is actually resting on a pink velveteen-covered upright stand that rests between her legs (the fabric matches the lining of the box) and she can be removed. She is barefooted as shoes to express her humbleness. Pandora's Box is made of wood and is a pale metallic silver with a finish of iridescent crystal glitter. It has antique silver-toned buckles, hinges, nail-type heads and a seal-type decoration on front.
