From Ayahuasca to Mopacho, every plant has a song gift to share with the world. Through song sung, drawn, and embroidered, the Shipibo people are magically sharing an intimate insight into the lessons of Mother Earth, Pachamama, so that we all may begin to connect with the land, ourselves, and Spirit on a deeper vibration. Art with what appears to be lines, colors, and pictures are actually sets of lyrics, "Icaros" as they are called, sacred song language, that can be translated into words and sounds to create the Universe! The patterns and designs are made while shamans sing their songs called Ícaros and under the influence of Ayahuasca (in traditional plant medicine ceremonies), that help these ladies to open their perception and receive the visions that we can see in these beautiful textiles and crafts. This piece of art is all embroideried by hand with so much high vibration of spirit and love . This makes a beautiful altar cloth, wall hanging, ceremony piece, etc. hand washable in cold water..
