We think these books are c. 1920s to 1930s as these books are in a collection of Peter Rabbit books, which include inscriptions when given as birthday presents which date 1938 and 1939. Also - dimensions are 14x10.5 cm, the same as other Peter Rabbit books of that era; endpaper illustrations contain Johnny Townmouse, which was the next to last character published in 1918; the book is illustrated throughout with line drawings and color pictures. The publisher didn’t become an Ltd until 1917, so they are not first Editions, but clearly very old. They appear to be an early UK publishing. The books were also sold in an antique 1920s to 1930s Peter Rabbit bookshelf.
