Description: Pheasant hunting Scotland lidded bowl James Nicoll & Son Forfar Rare. No chips breaks or cracks. On the base part the rim under the lid has a couple of places that are small nicks from putting it on the base. It is very old. There is crazing from age. There is on the top a piece of tape that is colored I left on there because I’m not really quite sure what it was. There is a lot of flaws on here due to aging and use. It is very unusual. On the bottom it says designed for James Nicole and son for far Scotland. There is an embossed marking that I cannot make out. It could very well say made in Scotland. Please see the pictures and if you have questions let me know.
