The trivet is triangular in shape and has a central design depicting the letter "E" in cursive with a "P" within it. The trivet is for sadirons and has the name of the manufacturer "ENTERPRISE MF'G CO.PHILA.U.S.A." in raised lettering along the edge. The trivet has three short legs to keep it level on a table. The trivet has short walls along the sides to keep a sadiron in place when placed on the trivet. The trivet, which weighs almost ~11 ounces and is ~6" long, shows a nice dark age patina with some minor spots where the finish has rubbed off. The trivet is dark brown or black with brown tones in color with some minor rust signs and is great looking. It would make a great addition to your collection. Origin: Purchased at an estate sale in Southeastern Pennsylvania. The piece was made in Philadelphia Pennsylvania.
