The damage is pictured. They are exhibiting leaves juvenile to mid-stage in shape and size. This is a philodendron species that exhibits different leaf shapes on the same plant. The new growth may emerge as juvenile shaped. Plant has been treated with Avid, insecticidal soap, and Copper fungicide - will be sprayed with insecticidal soap before shipping, unless requested otherwise. P. pedatum is a species that requires humidity and regular irrigation. The potting medium used should be an organic yet fast draining type. Course orchid mix ( bark, lava , charcoal, perlite, hydroton, etc) is an excellent soil amendment to liberally use. As an epiphyte, P. pedatum can not have constantly soggy roots. P. pedatum is a scandent climber so a hanging basket or totem of sorts is appropriate. It will grow aerial roots freely from the nodes. It can be grown outdoors in locations that do not freeze.
