Description: An original lithograph from an important printmaker, Pablo Picasso, Spanish/French (1881-1973). The lithograph is titled "Les Saltimbanques" (the jugglers) and is from an edition of 2200, published by A. C. Mazo, Paris and printed by Mourlot in 1959 as the frontispiece to "Souvenirs d'un Collectionneur". The catalogue raisonné reference is; (Bloch 855; Mourlot 285). This example is printed on off white wove Arches paper with the proper Mourlot watermark (see last photo - backlit paper). It signed and dated in the stone and measures 8 1/2 x 6 3/8 inches, sheet size is approx. 12 3/4 x 10 inches. It is in excellent condition with full margins. This same lithograph is in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art, New York.
