Description: I have a Pilot 602 tube receiver for sale. I pulled this out of a Pilot console. Chassis is very clean, no rust.The receiver was professionally restored a few years ago (new caps, etc). I don't remember everything that was upgraded during the restoration. It does include several original Pilot branded tubes. The face plate has been solidly attached to the chassis. I have not put many hours on this after restoration. I had several receivers restored around the same time. I tested this 602 for a month or so and and then I switched it out to test another finished receiver. This receiver sounds excellent. Not sure if I tested every feature when I was using it, mostly used the phono and aux inputs. Needs a FM multiplexer for stereo FM. I did hook it up today and played if for a few hours with no problems. Selling As-Is since I have not run this long enough to see if there are any other issues (bad solder joints, etc) that may need attention. Of special note there is a switch hidden behind the face-plate. I'm not sure what it does or if it works. I think it is a switch for RC/TT based upon variations of this model. This will be shipped double-boxed with lots of foam protecting the faceplate and tubes.
