Description: Offered here is an RARE vintage Theatre Playbill: "FIORETTA", produced by Earl Carroll with Leon Errol, Fannie Brice, Lionel Atwill and Dorothy Knapp, Approx 11 3/4 X 9". Has several tiny and small closed edge tears, and several pages are loose. This is a rare one! Earl Carroll's first attempt at a "book" musical. At the time, the most expensive flop in history, costing his backer, Mrs. Anne Weightman Penfield $350,000. Carroll cast his girlfriend, Dorothy Knapp, as the star even though she couldn't sing. Knapp did not sing at all and was panned by the critics. Produced by Earl Carroll, Music by George Babgy and G.
