King Oliver - Tracks 8, 9, 12 and 13 Popular pioneering Afro American jazz band of the 1920's musicians included: King Oliver (cornet), Tick Grey (cornet), Kid Ory (trombone ), Omer Simeon (clarinet) and George Bias (vocals). Washboard Rhythm Kings - Tracks 14, 15 and 17 Popular pioneering Afro American jazz band of the early 1930's musicians included: Dave Page (trumpet), Ben Smith (alto saxophone), Carl Wade (tenor saxophone), Eddie Miles (piano), Steve Washington (guitar) and Jimmy Spencer (drums, vocals) The Original Dixieland Jazz Band - Tracks 18 and 19 Completely new personnel for these sessions.
