Description: PORTER CHEMCRAFT Chemistry Chemical Outfit #3 1/2 in Wood Box w/Manual Hard to find - Super collector's item -- Measuring 19.5" wide, 10" tall and 2" deep, nice wood box with nice working hinge opening and an intact decal on top (measuring almost 3" wide by 2" tall). There are some surface scratches on the wood box, it does show nice dovetail construction and the general condition is pretty good with no loose joints. The decal on top does show a very faint #3 1/2. Please review the pictures, the chemical containers are made of cardboard where most have been opened, a couple are still sealed. There is a Chemistry booklet/manual included, visible wear on the cardboard inserts/holders and paper top inside. The top has a chart of the chemical symbols and atomic weights. This set is dated to be in the 1930s. The metal pieces do show darkening of the metal due to age. About a dozen glass chemical tubes, some are empty. Packets of different papers on top which have been unopened. There is a candle in one of the slots where the glass tubes with chemicals are located, it is wrapped up in paper.
