DESCRIPTIONThis is a lovely vintage skirt that was skillfully custom made back in the 1980s, and it's styled to have a prairie girl look to it. The material is a sturdy twill that is a dark burgundy red color. The skirt has a decent weight to it. The skirt has a fitted waist with knife pleats all around, giving it a full cut around the hips. There are striped accents around the hem done in blue, purple, black, and yellow. The skirt closes with three heavy duty hook and eyes in the back. There is a slit below that, and the slit closes with large snap buttons.NOTE: I displayed this skirt over a crinoline to show off the fullness of the skirt. However, the listing is just for the skirt. The crinoline is not included. The last photo shows the skirt without anything underneath. CONDITION This skirt is in excellent vintage condition.
