Description: Base Marked P. D. & CO. (this particular mark was used 1920 and before) by Parke Davis & Company, Detroit, MI. Base embossed: P. D. & CO. with the number 430 beneath (probably the mold number), I believe hand blown in a mold with a tooled lip, as the seams don't go all the way to the top (photo #4), 3 small raised dots on the shoulder on each side that form a triangle (photo #5). Parke Davis makes a large range of pharmaceutical products, the base mark reflects the product company in this case and not the manufacturer of the bottle. A number of companies have made bottles for Parke Davis. A finely crafted and thin walled bottle considering the time period it came from.
