Description: Galina Vishnevskaya was a Russian soprano opera singer (who sadly passed away in December 2012). She was married to Russian cellist M. Rostopovich and, in 1966, Galina was "People's Artist of USSR." This pre-Melodiya "torch" recording is made of the heavier vinyl, and the label (see photos) has the MK designation which represents the releases for exports. The writing on the paper outer cover is in both Russian and English. See the photo detail of the label for the track listing.
