Pre Tag Heuer 980.013 Black 1000 Professional SS Watch Mens Sport Silver Jubilee

Description: You are looking at a very rare Heuer. This watch pre-dates the TAG Heuer merger. This is the black faced Heuer 980.013 men's 1000 professional watch. This watch is a true survivor. I am a watch collector who owns over 500 Tag Heuer watches. I currently have quite a few for sale. It was simply time to clean out the closet. This is a men's size Heuer watch with a case size of about 37mm (42mm crown included). The crystal is in very good condition with a several light scratches. The back casing is in very good condition with light wear scratches. The bracelet is a brand new stainless steel jubilee band that is made for this model. It is in unworn condition. The bezel is in very good condition with light scratches. The hands & hour markers have darkened over the years. New hands can be purchased online for about $25. I would rate this true survivor as a solid 8 out of 10 in condition. The watch will fit up to an 8.25 inch wrist. I do not have extra links. The bezel turns and clicks in the counter clockwise direction, as it should. This model has a quartz movement and it is 200 meters water resistant. I do not recommend wearing these older 1000 models in the water. I always recommend having seals tested before wearing in water, but I would not recommend wearing a watch this old in the water. This is 100% authentic. Be careful because there are a lot of sellers on eBay selling fake TAGs from the UK, Japan, Canada, Bulgaria, Singapore, and even the USA.
