This majolica plate has excellent colors and mold, and is also in very good condition as it has a couple of very tight hairlines and a few very minute nicks along its rim which were hand touched up by a studio artist and the plate looks really nice, much nicer than it sounds. Like most antique majolica, it has some crazing. A similar pattern plate can be seen on page 100 of the Encyclopedia of Majolica by Mariann Katz-Marks. Please disregard the lighting glares.
