Description: Acquired at local Pennsylvania farm auction is a wonderful antique primitive original tapered wood staves banded butter churn with lid and dasher/plunger. Original as found patina. Good solid condition with NO rot or odor. Top metal band and two heavy metal wire straps. Shows age appropriate patina and use marks. Inside bottom of churn shows age use marks and wear. Dasher stick is worn thinner where stick hit lid from years of use. Lid has a spot of white paint. Dasher plunger end shows a old glue repair (see pics). Wood tapered bucket measures 16"h x 7" diameter opening x 9 3/4" diameter base. Dasher measures 32"l x 6" diameter plunger. Lid measures 6.5" diameter. Please see pictures for complete condition.
