Description: Princess Diana Pink "jeweled" heart pillow from Althorp -- the Spencer Family's ancestral home. New in original box. Front side of pillow is completely covered in iridescent clear/pinkish sequins with a small faux pearl sewn in the center of each sequin. This decoration is reminiscent of Diana's wedding dress which was hand-embroidered with more than 10,000 tiny mother-of-pearl sequins and pearls. "Althorp" and the Althorp swirled crest is embroidered in silver thread on a blank oval on the front of the pillow. The oval shape evokes the image of the ornamental oval lake on the Spencer family estate and the oval island in the middle where Diana is buried. Lovely keepsake. SOLD OUT and no longer available since 2014 when the "Diana: A Celebration" exhibit closed. Once both Prince William and Prince Harry were age thirty, all of their mother's belongings (which had been entrusted to Diana's brother: Charles, 9th Earl Spencer) were returned to them.
