Pro-Built Award Winning 1/48 Scale Monogram F-117A Nighthawk

Description: A little about the model: This is the Monogram kit that was enhanced by adding "remove before flight" tags and covers for the various intakes and sensors. The model was painted with a combination of Model Master, Tamiya, and Vallejo Acrylics. It was coated with Future floor polish and washed with oils and weathered with pastels to its present condition. Model Master Acryl Finish was used to seal the aircraft and it is marked as an aircraft called "The Grey Ghost" used by the US Air Force. A little about the modeler: This is one of hundreds of scale models that I have built since getting back into the hobby in 2004. I am an award-winning modeler with over 4,178 awards that included shows in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri, and Kansas. Additionally, I have placed in the IPMS Nationals Competitions held in Virginia Beach, Omaha, and Phoenix in recent years. I am a Distinguished Donor with the USS Lexington Museum in Corpus Christi with thirteen pieces in the scale model collections.
