The dimmer controlled modeling light is powered directly from the mains, and it is therefore important to check that the rated voltage for the lamp corresponds with the mains supply. A 250 W E11 Mini-can halogen lamp is included in standard deliveries. The Acute2 head is supplied with a frosted UV-coated glass cover and a Zoom reflector. Combined with the UV-reducing quartz flash tube the frosted glass cover offers the recommended color temperature for daylight type film. The Acute 2 modular flash head design features a circular, heavy duty, quartz flash tube and UV coated protection dome that surrounds both the flash tube and the 250W modeling light. It provides even, consistent illumination. The modeling lights for the flash heads are readily available in a variety of voltages for use all over the world. There are optional domes that are more heavily coated, for a warming effect of the light output. Get a good preview of the power settings. As the flash power is dialed down, the modeling light dims. The zoom reflectors allow you to alter the beam spread of the flash heads. I'm also including diffusion socks for the reflectors for softening light.Tenba Carrying Case for Profoto Acute 2 R and 3 HeadsThis is a hard foam case with a soft exterior. The foam inside is designed to accommodate the power pack and the three heads.
