Description: This listing is for a true vintage original Prohibition Era License Plate Topper circa 1932. It is orange, with raised letters, which look to be hand painted with black paint. There are a few spots of scratches, scuffs, or rubbed off paint. A small bend in the metal on the edge near the JO. 2 small mounting holes on top and bottom. A small spot where orange paint on back side is chipped off. Very minimal amount of rust present. Appears to be painted tin. Measures 6 1/2" diameter. Very fine condition compared to the one that sold at auction from the Mike Nichol's Collection. From the estate of a long-time collector of fine items. The plate is enclosed in a stiff plastic protector, and we have left it in that makeshift cover for as long as we have had it. Please do not hesitate to send a message if you have any further questions about this listing. We will get back to you as quickly as possible, usually within 24 hours. Thanks for looking, and hope you have a great day!
