Description: A wonderful early prohibition flask with the song title "How dry I am" engraved on the frontof this 4 1/4" circular flask.The lyrics come from Irving Berlin's 1919 Ziegfeld Follies song, “The Near Future”.The song is about a patron's comical attempt to order a drink at a dry restaurant. The flask sports plants and vines around the sides of the flask. There are still traces ofsilver although most of it has been rubbed off. Apart from a small dent on bottom front at about 7 o'clock there is almost no damage to the flask which is exceptionally well built. Excellent vintage condition in a black and gray patterned finish.The steel screw top is in exceptional condition. In fotos 5 & 6you can see two chips off the finish one about 1/4" squarish,the other somewhat smaller, so priced appropriately.
